Introducing The Van – White Turtle III

Many of my friends and clients know about the new company vehicle that I am working on.  In case you didn’t I will put some updates and information here  on the blog for you to follow along with. (also it is too hard to keep sending out information to people that ask about the progress so I can link it here under the category VAN ).

High Level Print

Another high level print done and ready to head out. It is like one of my babies is leaving for its new home!!! Love this view of the bridge!

This frame helps the bridge to stand out even more. The black outside of the frame plays off the black of the bridge. It is amazing how a picture looks so different in different frames. Even the thickness of the frame will make the print look so much different. I have framed this print many times in my classic black frame and lit looks great. This frame changes all that up!

Getting that amazing shot - Waterton Photo Course
Photo Course in Waterton = Secrets to getting that amazing shot

Photo Course, Workshop, Photo Tours, Photo Expeditions, Photo Safaris

So before I start let me say I think EVERYONE should take a Photo Course, Tour, Expedition or Safari from me – because I am such a nice guy. But what if you want to go someplace that I do not go and you want to hire someone to help with your photography, what should you look for?

Is it worth restoring???

I hear this so many times in a week, Is it worth restoring? People come in with pictures and the first thing they say is “You probably cannot do anything with this picture”. Or “I don’t think it is worth restoring”.

The truth is that almost all pictures can be improved. From adjusting the contrast, adjusting color or repairing scratches the image will look better.

But is it worth doing anything? From a history point a view MOST DEFINITELY!!! Once an image is gone or destroyed so bad that you cannot tell who or what was it is to late. So get the image repaired ASAP! Get the image copied. Put it on a digital back-up that way if the original does get destroyed or lost you have copies.

If you have an image you are not sure about bring it in. I charge nothing to look at the image and let you know what can be done and what it will cost. Plus all the work is done in Lethbridge. With the image being digitized while you are waiting so no shipping the image away to get lost.
