Paper Types
Pearl paper is set to take the printing world by storm. Offering a pearl surface that is scratch resistant beyond any other paper that is currently available. The contrast ratio is great for portraits as well as nature and wildlife.
Luster paper is a low gloss water resistant paper that is perfect for display at trade shows, parties, in house displays and more. The standard for years as a mid range contrast paper that is suitable for portraits as well as nature and wildlife.
Matte paper is a low gloss paper that has zero shine. Lower contrast ratio than Pearl or luster. We recommend the matte paper for lamination.
Semi Matte paper - is a matte paper with a little more water resistance than standard matte and less susceptible to figure prints and soiling than matte but without any shine or reflection. Mid range contrast ratio.
Ultra Gloss paper. Very high gloss, looks great for Black & White prints and high contrast prints. Very high contrast ratio.
Canvas is an artist medium that is great for original artwork. We strongly recommend the liquid coating for greater permanence.
For a print that are going to be handled we recommend laminating;
- Sand (also known as Pebble) Laminate gives a very high class finish and the best wear available (sets your prints apart from the typical lab print)
- NOW AVAILABLE for canvas a coating that is amazing, a semi gloss coating that is water proof and will allow you to wipe and wash the canvas picture.
